Scrapbook pages and Layout

As I'm thinking what to post from all my art work, then i decided to post some scrapbook pages/ layout that I've done. I'm not really into layout art work, just a few pieces to show as below.

This is the first ever scrapbook layout that I've created. I'm using some papers and flowers that i have(which very limited) to create this layout. I still remember that it is where i just started my scrapping life few weeks only, and i decided to do my very first layout pages for me and my hubby wedding photo. :)

This is my second layout done for a friend of mine, who is getting married on 16 Sept 2013. I just get some layout idea from website and decided to do this as a wedding gift for her and her hubby, I've add the bird cage and some Prima Flowers on the layout.

This is my third layout done. This is not a 12 x 12 scrapbook pages, instead, this is a 6 x 5 canvas pages. I've get the idea from her: Gabrielle Pollacco, I just love all her projects and she is so amazing! This is the first time i'm hands on Gesso and stencil, and the feeling is awesome.
For the background, i'm using a green color and yellow color mini stamp pad to create the color effect. Then, I used the sentiment from Unity Stamp, Everything love, the word just so pretty and match the picture.
In case you want to have a look, I've share her video as below for your reference.

Video Tutorial - 'Laugh' Step by Step

This is my latest layout for another friend of my whom just married in Mar 14. I just used a lot of Prima Flower and all the embellishment  from Prima is so pretty! I couldn't express by words how pretty it is for all the Prima items. I'm so bless that i manage to buy Prima's Warehouse Sales Box last Dec, and i'm actually hopping to buy it again by this year end. :)
For the couple, i actually have done another card for them, picture as below... ;)

Wish them Happy Married and happy ever after!

The Christmas series

Oh Christmas tree, Oh Christmas tree.... The favorite season that i love the most for a year. If you follow my blog, i'm actually posting the pass event, all the art works that i'm done since last Oct till now, therefore i take the chance to upload all Christmas cards in a post.
Of cause this is first time i'm doing Christmas card as i'm still consider myself as a beginner in scrapping world when entering the season, here are all cards i'm made.

This card I'm using Brandy & Emma Let It Snow Stamp from Unity Stamp, they are so cute and makes me remind of my pet Fifi. I've color it with Tim Holtz Distress Marker, and in order to make it have some 3D feel, I've add in some snow flakes to make it look reals.

For this cute little penguins, i'm using Christmas Eve Chowder kit from Unity Stamp. They are so cute and adorable. For this cars, I've add some ribbons, Washi tape and blink stone to make it look nice.

Here is another card using the same kit as above.

This card is rather simple as i actually using some recycle card / paper to complete it. The Christmas tree is cut out from my Big Shot machine, with a free dies from a magazine. Then i found a circle which is left over from previous project. Then i used some left over papers/ card to cut to banner shape, chain up each banner with twine. As for the sentiment, I'm using Everything Christmas sentiment kit from Unity Stamp. So, please do not trash the left over card / papers as they may be useful of other project later. :)

For these 2 cards, is my first time trying with the emboss power and distress ink pad. Above cards have the same concept, but i think i still need to improve the skill of using the distress blending tool.

This cute card image is from Roly Poly Winter Joy Stamp from Unity Stamp too. I've colored it with normal color pencil, and background is using Snowflake Kisses Kit from Unity Stamp and emboss powder to create the emboss snow flakes effect.

The last Christmas card is a free stamp from a magazine (notice that I've bought a lot of magazine with freebies? :) ), and I'm using the emboss folder that I've bought previously (Lifestyle Craft Happy Birthday Emboss folder), and I've touch up the images with some Stickles, and it turns our pretty cool for the cards!

These are all my Christmas Cards series, stay turn for next post ya!

Emboss experiences

I'm not a good blogger, i admit that. I've not update my blogger since last year...
Too many things to settle, too many things happened by this half year... To cut the story short, i try to upload all the scrappy art work that i've made as soon as possible.

As mentioned in previous blog, i've bought my die cut machine, and i've used it to do the die cut and emboss effect for these 2 cards. These cards is special order by my colleague, whom will go for a 6 years old birthday girl's party on that Saturday.

For the left card, i'm using the birthday cup cakes stamp from Hero Art and color with Tim Holtz Distress Markers. The "Happy Birthday" wording is by Unity Stamp - Party All Day Kit.

For the right card, the cute little girl is from Penny Black - Mimi At Play kit, you may find more details here. The beautiful emboss background, i'm using the Spellbinders M-Bossabilities folder called Whimsy, i bought it from aifel.com as well.

For these 2 pictures, actually it is the present i make for my friend Angeline, the one that inspired me to get involve in the scrapping world. The first picture is a decoupage display hanger, and i've combine both decoupage Technic and scrapping skill to do it. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Where you should be kit, and it just match the person perfectly.

For the card, the cute little image i'm using the free gifts from a magazine, and i'm using the check pattern emboss folder from Darice. I like it a lot cause it just look so sweet!

Here is another card i'm using the same emboss folder and a free stamp from another magazine, special request from my friend who actually rushing for nice birthday card urgently.

Coming up I've made this card as a thank you card for my colleague in Singapore who actually give a big help to me the other day. Inspired by this stamp from Unity Stamp, You Are Filled. This is just so amazing.

Then later, i've made these 3 cards with the same emboss folder from Lifestyle Craft Happy Birthday Emboss folder. The design is so pretty and you can just apply it without any colour.

This card is made in the mid of making Christmas cards, i just miss my friend who is staying in NZ now. I'm using the Miss You Friend stamp from Unity Stamp, and colored it with Promarkers.

Well, i will show your my first scrappy class in the next post, hand on doing Mini Album with Angeline Choo.

See Ya!
